conclusion

     Carter g Woodson wrote the miseducation of the negro to expose the real education of a negro which was barely an education, in this American African research novel, Woodson expresses passionately describes how those during the 1930s were being lied to. During the 1930s when this was published it opened up many people’s minds to what really was education but at the same time whites were furious about this book, it consists of all the lies that were holding up the black race. Carter g Woodson contains stayed passionate about the rights African Americans had, why education was so important, and much more; even to the point where he was kicked out of the NAACP for talking about African Americans’ rights “too much”. Whether or not the punishment was fair, Carter g Woodson will live on for centuries educating others with an open heart about how unfairly black people were treated and how they not only want but deserve equality.
